Kashmiri Numbers 1 to 20: A Simple Learning Guide

Numbers are one of the most practical things a beginner can learn early — they show up constantly in daily conversation, from prices to ages to phone numbers, and give you an immediate, usable skill.

Like many South Asian languages, Kashmiri numbers from 1 to 10 each have their own distinct word rather than following a simple repeating pattern, which means the first ten numbers take some dedicated repetition to memorize.

Numbers 11 to 20 build on that base but often aren't fully predictable either, so it's worth treating the full 1-to-20 range as its own short vocabulary set rather than assuming the pattern from 1-10 carries through cleanly.
